So I know Matt mentioned in his email that he would announce a Club competition at the next meeting and we could decide on styles and when it would take place, but I figured "why not get some ideas out there now?" That way we'd have more time to spend on other important items (i.e. elections, drinking, etc.).

Since this competition would take place in the summer I was thinking about a light or wheat beer style group. BJCP 6 or 15?

Thoughts? Other ideas?

Primary: White Grapfruit Cider, Biere de Noél, Ayres Amber Ale
Secondary:
Bottled/On Tap: DIPA, Graf, Cinnamon Vanilla Porter
Aging: Missouri Mead
Next Up: Russian Imp Stout

My vote would be for Category 15 since I have a weizenbock recipe I'd like try. If we wanted to think about another category, an IPA is a good summer drink, Category 14. Of course I think an IPA is good fall, winter, spring, morning, afternoon and evening beer as well so I might be biased.

24 hours in a day, 24 beers in a case. Coincidence?
