So, I was thinking we should continue to have bi-weekly meetings. Not so much to actually have an official meeting every two weeks, but really to try out new places as a club. We had such a great time at "Hair of the Dog" that I was thinking it'd be fun to do that again, but at an actual brewery or something. Thoughts?

I think Growler's Pub in Sunset Hills would be a fun place to visit. I love their beer garden, and they have a wide selection of beers. www.growlerspub.com/

My wife and I did the VIP tour at AB a while back and it was pretty fun. And it was a privately guided tour. Ours was the only group on the tour so we could go as slow or as fast as we wanted.
That being said, I would rather go somewhere else. While it was pretty awesome, I would rather check out 4 Hands, Civil Life, or Urban Chestnut, personally.

Completely agree with Tom, going to a brewery sounds like much more fun and would open a chance to get a closer look at their systems possibly!

We've got a nice lead on a brewery tour we can do as a group, hopefully even watching the brewmaster brew a batch! If Matt has heard back by tonight, we'll have the info tonight at the meeting.

ABInbev also has a beer school for $10 a person. We went on a brewery tour yesterday and I grabbed a brochure on it.

That sounds like a good time, what are the specific time requirements do you think?

I've been trying to get a hold of Phil(Owner/Brewmaster) down at Perennial Artisan Ales in south city for a while now to set up a private tour for club members just as a thought. I will let everyone know if something comes of that
