Club beer competition for Happy Holidays Homebrew contest - Bring your beer to the November meeting ( Nov. 13) - There is no theme, all styles welcome. Everyone will need to let me know what style they plan to bring, so we can print out BJCP guidelines
- The club will pay for one entries for each paid member
- Contest deadline is December 6th. You can submit your entry to St. Louis Wine and Beer up until that date, even if you can't make it to the meeting or if you change your mind about the beer you want to submit.
- The contest will take place December 14th at Schlafly with the award ceremony taking place the next day

Wait so should we bring double the bottles to the meeting? 1 set for everyone to try at the meeting, and 1 set to enter into the competition?

Entries will require two bottles for the competition. It is not necessary for everyone to try it unless you want feedback prior to the competition, but as always bringing homebrew to share is encouraged!

You guys convinced me to help represent the club when we were at the last brew meeting. I've entered a couple of bottles through the Happy Holidays site, printed the tags, banded them to the bottles and will drop them off at the shop this afternoon.
I'll forward an email to confirm once I've made the drop.
Thanks,

3 People Representing thus far. Be sure to get them in! I'm sending a follow up email to everyone just because of a late notice change that the grand prize will be a 15 gallon conical fermenter!

Should the beer be cold?

The beer should be room temperature, I would imagine they'll be chilling the bottles somehow at Perennial?!

Thank you to all who entered beer into the competition! I was very proud to see so much interest and effort. Hopefully someone can take home at least a ribbon or medal if not a new conical fermenter! I also hope that the information and feedback given will help us all in our brewing techniques!
