I'm selling my copper immersion chiller because I'm purchasing a plate chiller. Anyone interested? Here is a pic of it:

Just wondering, what kind of a plate chiller did you get? Our immersion chiller just doesn't cool down 10 gal quick enough, and I'm looking for suggestions.

Hey Ben, I ended up getting the Blichmann Therminator - www.blichmannengineering.com/products/therminator I actually haven't gotten the chance to use it yet, but theoretically it'll chill the wort down very quickly. There were plate chillers out there that had way less plates as part of the system, but this one in particular has 300. Can't wait to get it going on my next brew day! |
