Here's my version of the Yeast Starter Stir Plate.

I had about half of the parts laying around from old computers and it was very easy to build.

I used this link from the Home Brew Talk Forums as a guide but it's a flexible design that allows you to use things you might already have around your house.

Bottled: American Brown Ale, Robust Porter, English Ale, Blonde Ale and Pumpkin Ale
Kegged: Brown Ale
Primary: Belgian Alet
Secondary: Apricot Wit
Next Up: All Grain ESB or Rye
Brewed This Year: 30 Gallons

I tried to post this yesterday but maybe I forgot to log in. My pictures above don't show it, but I had to break my magnet in half and flip one piece over so it had opposite polarity. Then I slid them back and forth on the washer and tested repeatedly until I had the best spacing. Otherwise my stir bar bounced around inside of the beaker instead of spinning.
