Here is my Brown Ale recipe that I will be submitting at the Brewminati meeting in August. Looking forward to seeing how it turns out. Grain12.00 lb Pale Malt (2 Row) 4.00 lb Caramel/Crystal Malt - 60L 1.50 lb Rye, Flaked 1.50 lb Cara-Pils 0.50 lb Chocolate Malt Hops1.50 oz Goldings (60 min) 1.00 oz Hallertauer (15 min) 1.00 oz Fuggle (5 min) YeastNottingham Ale Yeast SecondaryI'm debating on throwing in some caramelized pecans in secondary just because I love the aroma of them and the possibility of the flavor they might add, not sure yet.
Let me know what you think of the recipe and any suggestions or changes (obviously after the competition)
