Tom, Why don't we keep the number brought the same, since it's so late. If more people do bring more beers then that's just more variety for people to choose from.

I know this is a last minute idea, but I thought of this in light of the fact that the number of participants in the other exchange has to be fixed, and the number of people that want to participate is growing. I was thinking that we can potentially ALSO do a "Grab Bag" gift exchange. We can use the following format: - Bring 1 bomber or a 12-pack to enter
- Keep it in a "brown bag" (I can bring those)
- All participants get assigned a random number to determine the order of their turn
- During your turn, a participant can either open a "wrapped" package from the middle, or "steal" one that has already been opened
- We can limit the # of steals to 2 per turn, and 2 per present (i.e., after it has been stolen twice, it can no longer be stolen again)
The main benefit of this would be to not be locked into the # of participants. What do you all think? |

Meaghan, we'd love to have you participate!
We are going to keep the format the same, since there is so little time for people to get extra beer before the meeting. Everyone will still bring 12 beers and get to leave with 12 beers, there will just be more options to choose from.
Also, I managed to snag a bottle of Abraxas for people to sample. If you've never had it (or even if you have), get excited!
